Accepted!!

Deep Magic published my writing challenge submission! www.deep-magic.net. This is a free e-zine, of very high quality.
It will be interesting to see what kind of feedback gets thrown out in the forum. Only minorly scared. *grin* All considering - I blasted it out in a few hours. See post below.

HA!!!

I had a brief discussion a few years ago with a university student about the cancer research he was doing. I mentioned something about green tea and it's benefits and he thought I was stupid. NOW who's lookin not too bright, Mr. Snothead.

Nicely done

Issue 5 of Neo-opsis, a Canadian SciFi Magazine, has hit the streets running. This issue has reviews of Lynda's novellas, Kath and Mekan'stan, along with *sniff-wipes tear* another thank-you to yours truly for literally hitting the streets with the mag.
I say it often, and I'll say it again - great cover!!!!

Words of Wisdom

Writing isn't a crapshoot. Publishing, yes—but not writing. Writing is a craft.

Submitted!

I've made my second submission of writing in as many years. I'm on a roll.

I downloaded Deep Magic's monthly e-zine, and was impressed by the quality of the publication. Haven't had time yet to read all of the stories, because I was busy pounding out one of my own for their monthly writing challenge. Their deadline is tomorrow, and I managed the two pager between yelling at kids and digging for leftover Christmas chocolates.
It's not the most indepth bit of writing, titled Finely Tuned. It's more of an off-the-cuff style piece, just for fun. Chances of it bein accepted are pretty slim, so when it's not, I'll post it here for fun.
