First bad review
Woowoo! Got a review on the Neo-opsis story. The reviewer didn't like it one bit. I find it kind of amusing, as she missed the tongue-in-cheek style of the whole story. But that's what writing is all about! Seeing what different people get out of your work. I'm just happy it's out there.

But seriously, congrats on the review Virginia - no, it's not a glowing review, but at the very least it was acknowledged. I find that a better option than having a reviewer just skip over it . . . that can sometimes be worse.
And just maybe it helps get your name into more reader's heads so that next time they see your name in a book or magazine it'll become familiar.
(I'm feeling kind of "glass is half full" this morning)
